At Dawn Hilton Photography, I love capturing the fun, quirky side of your dog. The side that shows the goofy, wild, silly, but lovable fluffball they truly are!
I will create a gallery of images of your dog simply being themselves, in a relaxed and safe environment.
No need for perfect obedience! The best shots come when they’re having fun, whether chasing bubbles or catching treats!
So, grab their favourite toys and treats, throw in a bucket full of studio props and colourful backdrops, and let’s have fun photoshoot experience with your furry friend!

You asked, I answered!
The studio is located in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select your preferred date and time from the booking calendar.
You will receive email confirmation of your date & time slot, including a questionnaire to fill out all about your dog. This is to help prepare me for your session. I will also WhatsApp you to create a more instant conversation link, with which you can contact me anytime, before or after your session.
Once booked you will receive a prep guide to ensure your dog’s moment in the spotlight is as special as can be!
Once you are in the studio I allow time for your dog to get used to the new surroundings and strange smells and, of course, allow them time to get used to the camera and me!
I don’t start snapping away until your dog is relaxed and ready to go.
My studio is also fully enclosed, so perfectly safe for those off-lead images.
The sessions last for 45 minutes. However, I always go at your dog’s pace, not mine, so how long they take will be down to your dog and not my clock.
Of course! Extra dogs are charged at £25.00 and I can have a maximum of 2 dogs in one session, so long as they are from the same family home.
If you need to alter your date and/or time, you can do so via your Booking Management Link which you will receive once you have booked in.
Your booking fee is non-refundable for cancellations.
Please do not panic. There are no other dogs other than yours in the studio, and I always allow time for your dog to become used to the camera & lighting equipment and myself.
Your dogs’ comfort and safety is my number one priority!
On heat dogs tend to drip ‘body fluids’, so I do ask that you delay your booking until after her heat cycle has finished. This is due to the hyperstimulation caused to any male dogs arriving right after your dog has left the studio.
Yes! I prefer it if you took both lead AND collar off! A ‘naked’ dog always looks better in the finished images. The studio is fully enclosed, so we won’t have any runaway dogs!
Absolutely! At the end of your session, I always get dog-parent(s) into that final image.
Please note that I can only do an image with one or two adults. I do not have the space on these particular set-ups to do a full family of Mum & Dad, AND children AND dog.
During our WhatsApp chats, after you have booked, we will chat about selecting the perfect backdrop colour from my available selection that will match your dog’s eyes and fur tones, which will give your final gallery that WOW factor.
Once your images have been edited, I will upload them to your private gallery.
You simply select your preferred collection and pay using the online store.
Once paid you can download your images immediately!
Turnaround for final galleries is around 2 to 3 weeks.
The Collections are THREE images or the WHOLE gallery.
If you can’t choose between all the images for your 3 favourite ones, simply select the whole gallery and have them all!
Yes! Absolutely! I can offer a vast array of wall art, framed pictures, coffee table books, all the way to loose prints.
Once booked I will send you my price guide to view, and there is also a store on your gallery to view and purchase from.
Don’t forget you can also use your £25.00 Booking Fee (used as Wall Art Credit) against any acrylic wall art!
I also offer 0% credit options, which can be discussed with you upon request.
Your £25.00 Booking Fee can be redeemed against any Acrylic wall art products upon viewing your gallery, should you purchase.
Please Note:
Your session fee is only converted into a Wall Art Credit for acrylic wall art purchases.
The Wall Art Credit does not apply for other products or if you choose the digital downloads.
